Healthy Lifestyles School Programme
Here's what previous people have said:
I thought that the pupils really did get a lot out of the sessions we had with our teacher. It was especially good and useful to get a variety in their Science and P.E lessons as it adds something extra to their educational experience. The delivery of the lessons was interesting, relevant and age appropriate. The style of delivery was impressive. It was clear and concise and Mr Colchester incorporated various teaching strategies that enabled him to keep the children’s attention and to manage behavior - Teacher at Whitton Primary School.
My children Alex and James go to Boxford School and really, really enjoyed the program. They thought Andy was the "coolest teacher ever" and will miss his Classes. Alex and James already have a very active life and have boundless energy which needs burning off! They eat very well and give all foods a try. However they still got so much out of the program and looked forward to seeing Andy every week.
Please forward my gratitude to Andy and I hope the project remains a great success.
Best wishes - Parent at Boxford
With health and fitness the hot topic of conversation all over the country right now, one government attention is to tackle the issue of both child and adult obesity. Local governments are attempting to put in place initiatives to educate both children and adults about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and Suffolk is no different.
Working with fellow Charity, Healthy Ambitions Suffolk, Inspire Suffolk are supporting a campaign via our free Healthy Lifestyle programme called Activ8it plus to make Suffolk the healthiest county in the UK by 2028.
Activ8it plus offers support, guidance and advice to young people looking to make a real difference to their health by not only teaching them the importance of exercise and diet but also how they can realistically achieve a healthier lifestyle.
