Ed Miller was born with Cerebral Palsy and whilst this hasn’t stopped him living his life to the full, he came to a low point in his life where he had a lack of direction and little to work towards.

Two years on and Ed became an Assistant Team Leader for the Trust’s Team Programme, he played and coached for the ITFC Charitable Trust’s disabled football team, gained a football coaching qualification (which was funded by the Trust) and has even gone for trials for the national Cerebral Palsy football team. This was all thanks to the Trust’s Team Programme which became a real life-changing experience for Ed.
Ed said “Trying to find a job is hard at the moment, but it’s twice as hard when you have a disability. I am so thankful to the Trust for giving me all these great opportunities as it really has changed my life for the better and I’m now looking forward to the future.
“Having the Team programme based at Portman Road too was really inspiring. It’s such a big part of the Town and an exciting place to come and learn.”
